Cherry-Ann James : RMT

Registered Massage Therapist, Osteopathy (Current Study)

Cherry-Ann believes in taking an integrative approach to health and well being.  She views massage therapy as one of the gateways to attaining and maintaining a healthy balance.  Whether your visit is for a general relaxation massage, a proactive preventative measure, or to address a specific injury or condition, rest assured you will be in good hands with Cherry.   In addition to Massage Therapy, Cherry-Ann is a certified Cupping therapist and a Strain/Counterstrain therapist.

Cherry-Ann is currently studying at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto.  This five year program allows each student to take an in-depth look at the interrelationships of the anatomy, physiology and bio-mechanics of the human body.  Through the use of Osteopathic techniques, students learn how to remove restrictions to allow the body to return to a pain free and healthy state.  Osteopathy can be a very effective treatment in both chronic and acute conditions.

As a former lifeguard and competitive swimmer, Cherry-Ann naturally gravitates towards water sports.  She spends her summer months actively competing on the Lake Ontario sailing circuit.  In the winter months, she enjoys cross country skiing and hiking to stay active and to help maintain her own balance.
