Ben Sluzar : RMT

Registered Massage Therapist, Osteopathy (Current Study)

Ben has always been amazed at the incredible complexity of the human body. He completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at Dalhousie University in 2014, where he found his passion and drive to continue learning the intricacies and explore the human body further, and how best to approach the treatment of its dysfunction.

Currently, Ben is a registered massage therapist, while he is in his third year of study at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto. This is a five-year program allowing students to take a deeper perspective of a patients anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics, while learning principles and manual therapeutic techniques to more efficiently and effectively address dysfunction at the root or cause of the issue, rather than just relieving a symptom. He has completed training in myofascial release, craniosacral therapy, strain-counterstrain, and muscle energy technique, among others within the realm of osteopathy and massage therapy.

Ben believes that everything, whether in life, or the body, is about balance. He is a big believer in the huge and diverse benefits in the practice of yoga and mindfulness meditation, as well as participating in sports and other physically demanding activities; for him, rock-climbing and basketball. He looks forward to learning more about you and how he can help!
